J-Meezy came to the scene strong, with his first performance in Providence, RI opening up for Lloyd and later for opening up for Young Buck, and has not stopped performing since. His energetic stage presence not only engages the audience but also continues to push Providence's Hip-Hop scene forward. J-Meezy has performed at many staple Rhode Island venues such as the Black Rep Theatre, Tommy's Lounge and the University of Rhode Island's Ryan Center as well as numerous night clubs and other venues. In 2009 J-Meezy also opened for Styles P and Red Cafe and performed in Atlanta's Monrovia Fest to a crowd of over 5,000.
